I know that diet alone will not be enough to achieve my weight loss goals. I know that I need to exercise daily for this to be possible. But you know life, Murphy, and the elements have combined against me lately and make this work out thing anything but what I want it to be.
The elements: Heat first...now humidity...monsoons...and thunder storms!?! Right when I get the motivation to start training for that 5K, too! Dang it all! Seems like Murphy and The Elements have an inside joke and I'm the pit of it.
Life: I put out my back on Friday. Big. Time. Ouch. That's the clincher. In fact I am tourturing myself as I type in this somewhat uncomfortable sitting position and after I actually get out of this chair I'll look like a hunched over old lady. Needless to say this has made it impossible to exercise. Can somebody tell Megan she doesn't need to work herself like oxen to win the oh, so coveted "twiggy" award? It's commin' her way courtesy of "life".
Weigh In for Sunday July 18, 2010:
Weight +/-: So I haven't been to weight watchers yet this week...and so have not yet been weighed. I don't weigh myself. So I guess my weight loss/gain is zero for now. We'll see next week.
